On May 29th, 2017, Ecclesiastical attended The Mosaic Institute’s 10th anniversary Peace Patron Dinner to honour Mayor Naheed Nenshi and his lifetime’s work and accomplishments in building the community of Calgary and strengthening the Canadian identity.
The Mosaic Institute is a charitable non-profit organization with a nationwide influence on weaving the fabric of Canada’s diverse communities through embracing and empowering difference. Difference is the solution. The Institute hosts a number of programs and initiatives to provide a platform for learning and dialogue, such as Mosaic in Conversation, Next Generation, which teaches young Canadians to be global citizens, UofMosaic, a fellowship program for student leaders to create a platform for their own communities, and New Beginnings.
Ecclesiastical’s charitable themes strongly resonate with The Mosaic Institute’s purpose and goals to give a voice to underrepresented members of our community and raise awareness for these groups. In our continued support of The Mosaic Institute, Ecclesiastical donated $5,000 towards this year’s Peace Patron Dinner.
