Ecclesiastical Insurance Office is very pleased to announce that Helena Kasimov has been appointed to the position of Controller & Risk Officer. In this leadership position, Helena will be responsible for supervising the company’s accounting, reporting, financial planning and budget management functions. She will also manage the risk compliance frameworks and develop the company’s finance team.
Helena brings over 20 years of insurance experience to her new role, having held progressively senior management and leadership positions in the industry. She has held finance positions at FM Global Insurance, Allstate Insurance and was most recently with ACE INA Insurance (and Chubb, pre-acquisition), where she was Vice President, Finance. In her last role, Helena oversaw finance operations including treasury, investments, reinsurance, budgeting and forecasting, and internal controls, while leading a team of finance professionals.
Helena attained a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Polytechnic University in St. Petersburg. She holds CGA and CPA designations and is a member of the Canadian Insurance Accounting Association.
