Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches, May 2010

The Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches in British Columbia invited Elissa Mak, Regional Manager, Pacific Regional Branch, and members of the Ecclesiastical team to conduct a risk control workshop at their Annual General Meeting.  Marilyn Hiebert, Director of Administration, introduced Ecclesiastical as an insurance company that takes an active role in risk prevention and harm reduction. Elissa provided an overview of Ecclesiastical’s history, financial strength and the value propositions we bring to our customers and brokers. She was joined by Patrick Edwards-Jones, Risk Control Specialist, who explained how churches could benefit from Ecclesiastical’s risk control services and building valuations. Andrew Hall, Senior Claims Representative, concluded the presentation by sharing some claims examples on property and liability losses and the lessons gleaned from these unfortunate incidents.  This was a wonderful opportunity to share our insights and expertise with our customer.
