Employees raise over $25,000!
With great enthusiasm, Ecclesiastical employees from coast to coast, along with their families and friends, joined the many thousands of Kids Help Phone supporters in the annual Walk So Kids Can Talk fundraising event. This year marked the 15th Anniversary of what’s become Canada’s largest walk in support of youth mental health and well-being. Traditionally held on the first Sunday in May, we were happy to lace up our running shoes and demonstrate our support.
In addition to getting sponsors for the walk itself, employees in each Regional Office held a variety of fundraisers—from potluck lunches, raffles and lily bulb sales to the all-important, pay-to-wear-jeans-on-Fridays. There was also a vigorously played inter-office trivia competition, along with a rematch! Great fun for a great cause enabled employees to exceed our national fundraising goal for a total of $25,200.
Ecclesiastical is a proud supporter of Kids Help Phone, a Canadian program recognized internationally for innovation and excellence.
