Our customers, many of whom are at the very heart of their communities, depend on us to protect their people and their property. This is a big responsibility for us, and we are committed to being the best. That’s why we bring talented, enthusiastic, and ambitious people on board – people who can help us make a real difference.

As a company, we do everything we can to create a professional, customer-focused and collegial working environment, and to provide all our staff with opportunities to grow and succeed. In 2008, we conducted an employee satisfaction survey to see how we were doing. We wanted to check the pulse of our organization, track our progress and get the kind of employee feedback that would help shape our strategies for ongoing success.

Forty survey questions addressed the “4 C’s” of employee satisfaction:

  • Commitment • Culture • Communication • Compensation

There was a 100% response rate and we are very proud of the results, among them:

  • 90% of our employees are satisfied with Ecclesiastical as an employer
  • 96% stated that they have good working relationships with their co-workers
  • 94% agreed that they feel a sense of shared ownership and accountability in the organization’s success
  • 92% agreed that their team leaders build relationships with staff based on communication, shared values, and support of their skills development.

We did well and look to build on this solid foundation by continuing to listen and by providing all the support our staff need.
